Another great place to relax and enjoy bowling in KK is CPS Bowl. CPS Bowl has been the number one choice for many bowlers in KK even after U-Bowl is opened at 1Borneo Hypermall. The 28 synthetic lanes bowling alley, equipped with fully automatic scoring system is located at the 8th floor of Centre Point Sabah and was opened to public in 1992. CPS Bowl has hosted many big tournaments in the past including Sukma IX 2002, Kota Kinabalu International Open, Sabah Open and many more. Among the notable bowlers who have played here are former national great Kenny Ang, Malaysia bowling queen Shalin Zulkfili and former PBA star/ex-Philippines coach, Purvis Granger.
The current rate at CPS Bowl (subject to changes) is RM 4.50 per game. The price is increased to RM 5.00 after 5.00 pm. There are different charges on weekend and public holidays plus members are given discount when playing here.
Regular bowlers can also join one of the weekly bowling leagues held at this bowling centre. Several tournaments are also held here from time to time.
