The botanical component gives the visitors the opportunity to go jungle trekking along the botanical trail. The paved trail is about 1.4 kilometers long. However, for leisurely strolls, visitors are only advised to walk halfway along the trail. The visitors are also advised not to go jungle trekking alone especially those who are not fit because of fear of cramps or the usual semput (shortness of breath).

Entrance fees are RM10 and RM5 (students) respectively for Malaysian. Whereas, non-Malaysian must pay RM20 and RM10 (students). Disabled person can enter the park for FREE. The Lok Kawi Wild Life Park is OPEN DAILY from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm (last entry 4.30 pm).
