The SIGNAL HILL OBSERVATORY which is located on the hills near Padang Merdeka is considered by many as the best place for an overview of Kota Kinabalu. The hill, itself forming a lush green backdrop of the city, looks down over the ever-growing buildings and across the sea towards Pulau Gaya. Just a couple of minutes drive from Padang Merdeka will bring you to the airy deck where you can get amazing views that extend to the outlying islands of the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park and further.
Daily from 8.00am till 12.00am
Admission is FREE.
