Book lovers, brace yourself!  There’s a book fair going on in 1Borneo Hypermall from the 10th – 18th March 2012, selling clean used book from USA.  If you don’t mind buying used book (why should you?), this is the place to save some bucks.  According to info, 90% of the books offered are priced less than RM10.  You’ll be delighted! It was just last year, from 9th July 2011 to 22nd July 2011, that we had a taste of KK Food Fest, Kota Kinabalu’s first food festival themed as “A Tasty Turn of Events”.  Now, it’s back again. Organized by LifeAndStyle.com.my, the KK Food Fest is aimed, among others, to generate awareness and promote the local food and beverage industry.  Featuring specialities of 30 participating restaurants and 14 fringe events, the 16-day event starts from 3rd March until 18th March 2012. The World Press Photo Exhibition 2011 At 1Borneo Kota Kinabalu

The annual World Press Photo exhibition is the best known of World Press Photo‘s activities and is a highlight in the organization’s calendar. With around 100 local exhibitions produced every year, it is the most popular traveling photo event in the world. For 2011, the exhibition was officially opened in Amsterdam in April last year (2011). It can be seen at venues around the globe until end of March 2012 with Kota Kinabalu as its last destination. It is the first time ever that Kota Kinabalu is selected as a venue for the event. Thank you to the organiser, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the sponsor, TNT Express Worldwide (M) Sdn Bhd for their effort in bringing the event here in Kota Kinabalu.
